Below is a list of workshops and projects geared toward teaching music on the following levels:

Commotion - Brock University, Carousel Players - Fall 2010 - Dedicated music workshops with theatre students from Laura Secord and Eastdale High Schools.  The final outcome were 2 very distinct shows workshopped and written by the students.

Suitcase In Point Youth Programming - Summer Theatre Classes - Summer 2010 - A 2-week theatre/music intensive.  Working with Deanna Jones.

Suitcase In Point Youth ProgrammingYou Are Here – Spring 2008 – Folk Arts Centre – a youth program focused on developing theatre skills with youth between the ages of 12 and 17.  You Are Here is based on living in St.Catharines.  Working with Natasha Pedros and Alexandra Hlinyanszky.

Carousel Players summer “music and drama” camp – 2007 – The Courthouse Theatre, St. Catharines ON – A week long full time camp developing a music based play with children aged 8-12.

Carousel Players winter theatre camp – 2007 – The Courthouse Theatre, St. Catharines ON – A Saturday morning 4 month camp focussed on developing a play with musical accompaniment with children aged 8-12.

Chillin’ At The RAFT – 2005 – RAFT, St. Catharines ON – Working once a week for 5 months with under privileged youth in Downtown St. Catharines.  We worked with the youth in a number of artistic mediums, including writing, visual arts (drawing, photography), sound recording, etc.  This was funded by the City of St. Catharines’ Cultural Investment Program.

Is It Rolling? – 2005 – Niagara Artists’ Centre, St.Catharines ON – a recording project working with mentors and youth.  The idea of the project was to record an album with professional and young non-professional musicians, at the same time teaching them aspects of performing/writing music, as well as giving them recording experience and knowledge. This was funded by the City of St. Catharines’ Cultural Investment Program.
